To start you need to first set up your Messenger account.

To get started, log in to Messenger as usual and then follow the prompts. A new section will pop up, labeled "Account Settings". Click on this and enter the details about your account. The account settings are split into two sections, namely "Messenger Bot" "Bot".

After entering the required details, click on "Create Bot". In the next step, you are asked to select the framework that you would like your bot to run on. Messenger Chatbot supports the following:

When you're done selecting your framework, click on the "Add Account Settings" link at the bottom of the page. You will be asked to confirm this and will receive the following message: "You have successfully installed your bot on your account." At this point, you can test your bot and interact with it. Note that there are some features that you may not be able to access on your test account; the options mentioned above are just the most popular ones.

Now let's look at building your bot. To get started, go to the "Messenger Bot" section and click on "New Bot". You will be prompted to provide a name for your new bot, as well as a description that describe the functionality that you want your new bot to do.

When the settings are finished, you can go ahead and add any Facebook applications to your bot's profile page. You can either add a Facebook application directly to your Messenger account or add the same to your Messenger profile if you don't already have one. If you're adding the application to your Messenger profile, ensure that you use a compatible template and make sure that it has all the necessary permissions to upload your bot's files. Once you've added the Facebook application, click on "OK". If you are adding the application to your Messenger account, select "Add Bot" at the bottom of the screen and follow the prompts.

The bot's file will be downloaded onto your Bot's account and will show in your Bot's sidebar. Click on the "Upload Files" link to the right of your page. This will prompt you to upload the file to your account. When the file is uploaded, go to the "Messenger Bot" section and check to make sure your bot is listed as active and ready to be used.

It's time to actually start using your Messenger Bot. To do this, click on "Chat" and wait for it to detect your Messenger Chatbot and run.

If everything goes according to plan, your Bot should be available to chat with people. To make sure everything works, make sure that your account is set up to accept messages from the website chatbot. If it's set up to accept requests, you should be able to see a message at the bottom of your Facebook account saying "Bot Chatting – Send".

To interact with the bot, click on "Chat with a Bot". When it detects your username, you will be prompted to talk to your Bot. This will prompt your Bot to respond and give you the commands you input.

You can also send the Bot a message and request commands. To do this, press on the Messenger Chatbot's profile icon at the left side of the page. When prompted, enter a message. A list of commands will appear and you will be given the chance to dictate the command by pressing "Enter" key on your keyboard.

When you have finished using the Messenger Bot, be sure to read the Facebook Messenger Bot manual. If you encounter any difficulties or need help, visit the developer's website. If you find that your bot is not responding properly to commands, you can always contact the developer for assistance.
